Wellness Clinic

Opening Soon

Niagara SPCA and Humane Society is expanding our care!

Thanks to the incredible support of PetSmart Charities of Canada, our new Wellness Clinic will open this December, expanding access to compassionate, affordable veterinary care for families across our community.

Building on the success of our long-standing Spay/Neuter Clinic in Welland, this service will serve as a trusted home for preventative and veterinary services within the Niagara SPCA & Humane Society network.

For more than 14 years, we’ve been proud to care for both the animals  and the people who love them across Niagara and Haldimand County. The Wellness Clinic is the next step in our ongoing commitment to creating healthier, humane and accessible communities for all.

About Dr. Raj Singh

Dr. Raj Singh is the heart behind the Niagara SPCA Animal Clinic’s new Wellness Clinic and a key member of our shelter’s animal care team. With years of experience in community-focused veterinary medicine, Dr. Raj brings a deep commitment to compassionate, accessible care for every animal that comes through our doors.

  • As the Director of Community Outreach & Wellness Clinic, he leads our efforts to make quality preventative veterinary care more available across the Niagara Region. From annual wellness exams and vaccinations to spay/neuter services, his focus is on helping pets live longer, healthier lives - while strengthening the bond between animals and their families.

Dr. Raj is passionate about education and believes that understanding your pet’s health is an essential part of responsible ownership. He often emphasizes the lifelong benefits of spaying and neutering, from preventing illness to reducing overpopulation and supporting a healthier pet community.

His leadership reflects the Niagara SPCA’s mission: to provide trusted, affordable, and compassionate care for the animals who need it most — both in our shelters and throughout the community.

Community Programs

At the Niagara SPCA & Humane Society, our work goes far beyond the shelter doors. Through our community programs, we’re building a more compassionate community improving the lives of animals and the people who love them.

Every day, we provide second chances for animals in need through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption. Every volunteer hour, donation, and act of kindness fuels our work and helps us create stronger, more humane communities.

Visit one of our adoption centres to meet our adoptable animals:

  • Welland (60 Provincial St, Welland)

  • Niagara Falls (6025 Chippawa Pkwy, Niagara Falls)

  • Port Colborne (1080 Elm St, Port Colborne)

  • Cat Adoption Centre (Seaway Mall, Welland)

We also offer low cost rabies and microchip clinics in community-based events. These clinics help families protect their pets from preventable diseases and ensure every animal can be safely identified if lost.

Together, these programs reflect our commitment to making compassionate, accessible animal care available to everyone.
